- 65+ years: eligible.
- Ages 12–64: eligible with certain health conditions (see chart below).

No. SPIKEVAX does not contain SARS-CoV-2 and cannot give you COVID-19.
Anyone who had a severe allergic reaction to a previous Moderna COVID-19 dose or to any ingredient in the vaccine.
Let us know if you: have allergies; had a severe reaction to any COVID-19 vaccine; ever had myocarditis or pericarditis; have a fever; have a bleeding disorder or take blood thinners; are immunocompromised or on immunosuppressive meds; are pregnant or breastfeeding; received any other COVID-19 vaccine; or have fainted with injections before.
